Lectures, Visits, and Other Events |
|
Every year there is a full programme of lectures and visits for members of the Dorset Gardens Trust.
The lectures and visits take place within and outside Dorset and are targeted at those members who wish to widen their knowledge of the history of gardens and designed landscapes. The seven members of the DGT Events Committee work hard to create a varied programme of interest to all the membership.
Where we are able to offer places on lectures to non-members details will be given on this website. Details will also be given of the very occasional visits where we are able to offer places.
Garden Days only take place on alternate years and are designed to entertain a wider audience with plant and other stalls, food and lectures, usually in a location which is not normally open to the public. The most recent Garden Day was at Chideock Manor on 27th June 2010. .
