Garden of the Year Award
The Kew Mutual Improvement Society have run an extensive programme of Webinars from September, details can be found here:
Kew Mutual Improvement Society. In 1871, Joseph Dalton Hooker wanted to create a space where new thinking and cutting-edge ideas in the world of horticulture and botany could be discussed by the passionate students studying it.
We have come across this very interesting series of lectures which were held back in September; however they are all accessible on YouTube. The five lectures included places such as Orleans House Gallery, Marble Hill House, Strawberry Hill, Alexander Pope, his Villa & Grotto and Sir John Soane & J.M.W Turner's House. All were well presented with about 20-25 minutes of detailed history followed by a Q&A.
Please click here to view the videos on YouTube.
