Membership of the DGT offers many benefits.
Each year the Trust organizes a series of visits and lectures for members within and outside the Dorset area. See our EVENTS section for the current programme.
Newsletter and Journal
Members also receive a Journal and newsletter with up-to-date and informed writing on many aspects of the garden, such as history of the garden and designed landscapes.
For the latest Newsletter, click here. The Journal is only published in hard copy, and is posted to members.
Grants and education
We have an active programme of recording the gardens, landscapes and garden buildings of importance in the County and we provide small grants to support important garden restoration works and bursaries. Our education outreach programme looks specifically at raising awareness of gardening and we run a number of programmes helping local schools develop green spaces within their setting.
