Caroline Montagu, Countess of Sandwich, has invited members of the Dorset Gardens Trust and their friends to be her guests at a special day at Mapperton House,

Mapperton, Nr Beaminster DT8 3NR

Mapperton is one of the most important and distinctive gardens in the country and winner of the 2020 Historic Houses Garden of the Year award.. Tucked into a steep north-south combe, the gardens descend from the very formal Italianate topiary gardens, pools, and Orangery to the north to an arboretum, beyond which the land unfolds in small, steep valleys and headlands down to the sea five miles away.
