A garden in development, in 2022 a decision was made with Lord and Lady Phillimore to revamp the planting schemes within the greater landscape. Previous alterations had been made in recent years by removing the old Wisteria walkway and replacing with a new Laburnum walkway for which Head Gardener Garry Abbott won the DGT’s Gueterbock Gardener of the Year Award 2023. Hidden garden created in 1990s around C18 water mill (not open) on River Allen. Series of linked formal gardens featuring herbaceous and iris borders, pleached limes, white walk and new laburnum walk.

20 acre nature reserve with reed beds and established shelter belts. Grazing meadows with wild flowers.

Be sure to look out for wildlife including Red Kites, Buzzards, Deer and if you are lucky the local Cranes
