Marren is a Mediterranean garden overlooking the sea towards Portland. It is mainly on a 45 degree slope. 

The Cartwrights have been there for 27 years. It has been featured on Gardeners World. 

It is a combination of formal topiary  and unusual shrubs, along with wild flowers and a small copse. 

There is a terrace with a living pergola overlooking the sea.

Gale force winds, badgers, squirrels and deer along with heavy clay have all contributed to making it quite a challenge. 

It is a magical place.
