A classic English garden of about 1.5 acres, The Old Vicarage was sold by the church in 1979 and since then has had five careful owners.  It has been much loved over the years but had been left to run wild when we came here, three years ago.  Since then, we have replanted all the borders, replaced trees and hedges so as to give better sight lines, restored The Orangery, created a dahlia garden and planted a grasses bed.  The garden features a historic mulberry tree, a croquet lawn, a Victorian font (which must have come from a nearby church), a working vegetable garden and an orchard. Lots of ‘rooms’ makes this a garden with lots of interesting features to observe as you walk around it.

Booking will open from April 10
